PAYE service availability and issues

HMRC has advised that they are aware of an issue that customers are facing when attempting to retrieve PAYE notices.
“We are aware some customers are receiving an error message ‘Request failed. Reason unknown. Incident Reference XXXXX’ when attempting to retrieve PAYE notices.
This is an intermittent issue and is currently under investigation. In the meantime, if you receive the above error message, try again.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
If you are affected by this, then please beware that HMRC are working on trying to resolve the issue.
