Changes to apprenticeships and CIPP delivery of apprenticeships.
As a direct result of government changes the previous apprenticeship frameworks in payroll were replaced in July 2018 by the Payroll administrator apprenticeship standard.
In the same reforms, end point assessment organisations (EPAO) were introduced. The EPAO for the Payroll administrator apprenticeship standard can be found on the Register of end-point assessment organisations page of GOV.UK
CIPPs involvement in apprenticeships
As the Chartered body for the payroll profession, we are pleased to announce that we are working with MBKB Training Ltd, and in discussions with others, to provide the knowledge elements of the standard to enable their experienced teams to deliver the apprenticeship.
In addition, we are working with Loughborough University to deliver the MSc in Strategic Leadership, which can be funded through the apprenticeship levy.
