THE BENCHMARK QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PROFESSION

Being CIPP qualified ensures that you have the knowledge and skill set to run an efficient and compliant payroll service - as well as showing employers that you are dedicated to the profession and are providing them with an effective payroll function.

Our qualifications are focused on employers and individual needs, based on extensive research, conducted to establish what skills and knowledge are required at every stage of a payroll professionals career.

Qualifications available:

• National Payroll Certificates (NPCs) provide an entry level three qualification in payroll, accredited by Kaplan Professional Awards (KPA)
  
  

• Certificate in Pensions Administration is an excellent entry level qualification resulting in KPA level three and provides a solid grounding for individuals who want to progress to the Foundation Degree in Pensions Administration and Management.

• Foundation Degree in Payroll Management is a three year qualification, split as follows:
  
  
  • Foundation Degree in Payroll Management Year One: Practitioner Certificate in Payroll
  • Foundation Degree in Payroll Management Year Two: Advanced Practitioner Certificate in Payroll
  • Foundation Degree in Payroll Management Year Three: Diploma in Payroll Management
• Foundation Degree in Pensions Administration and Management is a distance learning qualification developed by the CIPP in conjunction with Leeds City College and accredited by Leeds Metropolitan University. which can be awarded after a minimum of two years study.
  

• BA (Hons) in Applied Business and Management (CIPP) is a twelve months plus payroll qualification being run by University of Derby Corporate and in conjunction with the CIPP available for payroll and pensions professionals.
   
• MSc in Business and Payroll Management is the highest level payroll qualification available in the UK and takes three years to complete.  It is for payroll professionals who aim to represent payroll at board level and impact on strategic business decisions
   
• Professional Certificate in Team Management a nine month qualification for aspiring payroll or pensions team leaders
