HMRC has updated guidance for employers calculating statutory parental pay for employees who have been placed on furlough.

Furloughed employees, intending to take paid parental or adoption leave, are entitled to statutory pay based on usual earnings

Furloughed employees who are due to take family-related leave will be entitled to statutory pay based on their normal earnings.
