Happy birthday Chartered membership!
22 October 2018
The month of October is a special month here at the CIPP, as we celebrate our one-year anniversary since our launch of Chartered membership. Amongst our celebrations, we wanted to shine the spotlight on some of our chartered member’s and their life since achieving this incredible accolade.
Daniel Hancock is yet another one of our passionate Chartered members, who has had ‘29 years’ experience in payroll’, a profession in which Daniel continues to develop his knowledge and commitment to his career. ‘I have strived to maintain a high knowledge base and qualifications to the highest level in the payroll profession and as a Fellow member with the MSc in Payroll and Business Management I saw this as a challenging opportunity to enhance this with an aim to be recognised for my commitment to compliance.’
Achieving Chartered status has allowed Daniel to update his profile within professional networks which has ‘opened great connections in the industry.’ Further to this Daniel tells us he has now ‘been able to use this to research, gain and share the knowledge across a wider area.’
Having received support from his employer with regards to the application process, Daniel is looking forward to seeing what the future holds for his recognition of Chartered membership. For Daniel, the commitment and accreditation of achieving this accolade is something which deserves more recognition outside of the payroll industry.
For anyone thinking of applying for Chartered membership, Daniel ‘strongly believes that within the payroll industry it is seen to be a significant asset to the individual.’
If like Daniel, you are ready to step up to the challenge why not apply for Chartered membership. Find out more here or email [email protected]
