CIPP officer completes gruelling cycling challenge

02 October 2014

Dave Martin, Head of CIPP Professional Careers Academy, has completed a punishing 15-person cycling challenge, raising money for charity and promoting the name of the CIPP around the world!

Dave tells us that he really enjoyed the experience, despite having to cycle over 150 miles across the toughest terrain, and quite possibly lining himself up for a knee operation – ouch!.

The trip involved 14 other cyclists led by ex Manchester United Legend Peter Schmeichel raising over £25,000 for charity. Take a look at this photo of them all!

The publicity reach achieved for all charities, sponsors and the CIPP will be in excess of 30 million people in over 30 countries.

Individually Dave has raised over £2,000 forLeadership Through Sport and the Manchester United Foundation.

Our huge congratulations to Dave, and huge thanks to IAB who sponsored the t-shirt that he wore on the ride.
