Extraordinary General Meeting results are in

An Extraordinary General Meeting of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals was held on Friday 9 October 2020 at 10:30 a.m. via Microsoft Teams and was chaired by Jason Davenport MCIPP MIoD, Chair of the CIPP.

Members were asked to vote on two special resolutions. 

1. The amendment of the existing Charter of the Institute by adopting the provisions of the draft Charter attached here as the Charter of the Institute in substitution for and to the exclusion of the provisions of the existing Charter, subject to any amendments which the Board considers to be expedient or necessary and which are required or recommended by the Privy Council.
2. The amendment of the existing Bye-Laws of the Institute by adopting, the provisions of the draft Bye-Laws attached here as the Bye-Laws of the Institute in substitution for and to the exclusion of all provisions of the existing Bye-Laws, subject to any amendments which the Board considers to be expedient or necessary and which are required or recommended by the Privy Council
