HMRC stakeholder update - number 5

HMRC has circulated their fifth weekly update for 2014 to stakeholders, which looks to provide informal highlights as a result of listening to employer feedback and working in partnership with stakeholders.
Genuine HMRC contacts
HMRC will be sending text messages (SMS messages) to some customers to acknowledge receipt of their claim for tax credits. The messages will be sent for a short period starting 5 February.
