The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has opened a new call for evidence, “Fit Note Reform”, which will run until 8 July 2024.
The call for evidence aims to:
- explore reforming the fit note process
- gather evidence to assess the impact of the current fit note process
- discover the enhancements required to better support people to start, stay and succeed in work.
This call for evidence is the introduction to wider reform plan, it will lead to a full consultation on specific policy proposals, which will be published later this year.
The policy team will respond to the call for evidence on behalf of our members. You can respond with your views on behalf of an organisation or as an individual by completing the online form.
