Agents unable to log in to their online account

HMRC is aware that a small number of agents are currently unable to login to their online account and are working to resolve the issue.
Agents may be receiving one of 3 messages:
- Sorry you can’t join the new tax agents service today, we are controlling how many people can join in a day and we have reached our limit, please try again any day from Monday to Friday. You can still use your usual HMRC online services.
- Sorry, you’re not eligible to join the new tax agents service.
- Not authorised.
HMRC is working to resolve this issue and will update the PAYE service availability and issues page once a fix has been delivered.
