The NMW – unpaid and expense only work – HMRC Webinar

HMRC has noted that workers who are unpaid or reimbursed on an 'expenses only' basis is a common cause of underpayment of National Minimum Wage (NMW).
In a bid to tackle this area of concern, HMRC is offering three sessions of the NMW webinar, where unpaid or expenses only work and the associated minimum wage risk for employers will be covered. HMRC will cover internships, volunteers, and trial work – looking at where and when the minimum wage should be paid. HMRC will also cover NMW enforcement and how to put things right.
